Chando lives in New York City. Chando attended Manhattan College and became an actor prior to that. Chando was the lead character Maddie Coleman on the television soap show As the World Turns, which she was on from 2005 until 2007 as well as for a few months starting in the middle of 2009. Alexandra began her professional career acting with the TV series House Blend where she portrayed Jenna Harper. As the World Turns on CBS was her first television role after three years. Chando starred in American documentary films True life and Sherri in 2009; she played Maddie Coleman in the show As the World Turns. The actress was featured in two episodes Glory Daze (an American comedy-drama series) in the role of Annabelle. The other TV credits she has are Castle, Hindsight Dead People and Outcast.
